Our Roots Show
Roots is a show where all facets of Flamenco (instruments, songs, and dances) aim not only to make you know and amaze you but also to feel the true roots that Ronda has brought to Flamenco: Róndelas, la Serrana, el Polo o la Toná.
These contributions, which were born and have their roots in Ronda in its "Serranía" and in the works of the great "Cantaores" and "Cantaoras" of the city, place Ronda at the top of the triangle of "Cante Flamenco" formed by Sevilla, Cádiz, and Ronda.
These are our roots, the roots of a people who sing about their sorrows, love, joy, their people, and their customs, and who have been able to take Flamenco from its popular origins to the great halls. Ronda is one of the pioneering cities in this kind of business that has accompanied and elevated Flamenco.
The first "Tablao" was opened in 1834, the "Café del Teatro," where Flamenco and bullfighting enthusiasts often gathered. Later there were other tablaos in Carrera Espinel 5, Sevilla 4, Café- Madrid, or Café-La Unión.

Hermoso espectáculo! Para cualquiera que quiera disfrutar de un baile flamenco tradicional y un show de guitarra, entonces este es el lugar. Muy íntimo y acogedor. No demasiado turístico así que se siente muy auténtico. Hay que ver en ronda. Artistas excepcionales.
